Today you start your journey to the Rolwaling Valley. Early in the morning, you drive from Kathmandu to Chhet Chhet. The trek is moderate to challenging. Some days are steep and rocky, but the trail is safe. Good fitness helps.

The best months are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is clear and pleasant.

No previous experience is needed, but it helps to be physically active and ready for walking 5–7 hours a day.

Teahouses and lodges along the trail are basic but comfortable. Meals are simple and mostly Nepali food.
