Today begins with an exciting mountain flight to Lukla. During the flight, you will enjoy spectacular views of the Himalayan range.
Upon arrival in Lukla, your trek officially starts. The trail descends gently through traditional Sherpa settlements, prayer wheels, mani stones, and beautiful forests before reaching Phakding.

Today’s trail follows the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful pine forests and charming mountain villages. The walk is relatively easy and provides plenty of opportunities to enjoy the surrounding scenery.
Monjo is a peaceful Sherpa village located near the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park.

Today is the most challenging and rewarding trekking day of the trip. After entering Sagarmatha National Park, you will cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge.
The trail gradually climbs toward Namche Bazaar. Along the way, weather permitting, you may catch your first glimpse of Mount Everest.
After a steady uphill climb, you will arrive at Namche Bazaar, the bustling center of the Khumbu region.

Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.
This day is dedicated to acclimatization and exploration. To help your body adjust to the altitude, you will take a short hike to Everest View Hotel, one of the highest hotels in the world.
From here, you can enjoy stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other Himalayan peaks. You may also visit the Sherpa Museum, local market, and nearby villages.
